This is where I will log my runs and workouts so that I can be more accountable, after all, not only will it be seen when do I run/workout, but also when I don't.
Tuesday, October 2, 2012- Ran for 2 minutes and 45 seconds. Felt good to go out to run again, but I did let my knee stop me earlier than I would have liked. The last 45 seconds of my run I ran with Kris and an 8 minute pace, which felt so much better than running slow, wonder why?
Sunday, November 4, 2012- Did you know that doing Just Dance 4 for 2.5 hours burns about 1200 kCal!? It was awesome!!!
Tuesday, November 27, 2012- FIRST RUN ON THE GALLOWAY RUNNING METHOD!!! Walked/Ran (with 5 min. warm up and 5 min. warm down) for 21 minutes. Supposed to walk for 5 min. then run 10 sec. then walk for 1 min. (repeat until reached 10 minutes) then walk for 5 min., but I increased my run time to 15 sec. then walked the 45 sec. to finish each minute of the 10 minutes of work out, because running for 10 seconds felt super silly and 15 still felt good and doable and not at all taxing. The only hard part of the run, it was 41 degrees outside, I have minimal cold weather running gear, and I have been sick for the past week, so my lungs/nose were not in perfect working order. I feel good, and like that I felt like I could accomplish the prescribed work out and not think I was going to die in the process! WOOOO HOOOO!!!!!
